The Hudson lab strives to be a great place to work and to learn by combining cutting-edge immunology research with an environment conducive to professional and scientific growth. We believe the purpose of a biomedical research laboratory is not only to generate knowledge and improve human health but also to train the next generation of scientists. Mentoring is woven into all the research we do, and we strive for all lab members – trainees or not – to develop skills important for their career success, including laboratory research methods, scientific writing, data analysis, and more. Previous undergraduate mentees have gone on to attend MD/PhD programs or do Fulbright Scholarship research after their research here. We particularly welcome applicants who are interested in diversifying their scientific skillset to include immunology or bioinformatics techniques.
